On February 21, 2026 I presented another installment of my series ‘It’s Greek to Me!’ as part of the Christian Education Connection at Greater New Birth Church in Milwaukee.  I led the audience in an exposition of Paul’s career using select passages from Acts and Paul’s Epistles, especially Galatians.  I displayed all citations, with commentary, in the original Greek to highlight for the attendees the vigor, vitality, and vividness of the descriptions of Paul’s persecution of the early community of Jesus’ followers, the occasion of Paul’s conversion, and his subsequent missionary work evangelizing the Greek world of the eastern Mediterranean.  I concluded the presentation with a discussion of Luke 24:13-35 (the walk to Emmaus) as an episode that describes an encounter that led to a transformational experience, much like Paul’s vision on the road to Damascus.
